Abstract:Xiangjiuhong is a new late-maturing peach variety for fresh consumption,derived froma natural bud mutation.It ripens in early September in the Wuling Mountain area of western Hunan,with a fruit development period of approximately161 days.It is acommon peach and self-compatible.The fruit exhibits an oval shape with red stripes on the surface and white flesh. The average single fruit weight ranges from 324 to ,with a maximum of 523g .The soluble solid content is between 14.5% and 16.6% ,reaching up to 20.2% .The fruit has a dense texture, semi-freestone flesh,excellent quality,and high yield potential.Itsresistance to pestsand diseases ismoderate.This variety is wel-suited for cultivation in high-altitude mountainous regions.
