Abstract: This paper summarizes the major advances in grape molecular genetics and breeding in recent years.Specifically,the achievements of trait-associated gene loci identification, the recent advancements and advantages in molecular marker-asssted selection,genomic selection, and gene editing technologies,as well as its specific challenges and limitations,are discussed. Furthermore,the integrative potential of combining multiple breeding strategies in the future is proposed,aiming to provide theoretical references for the targeted and precise improvement of
grape germplasm resources.
