Abstract: A286 is an Fe-Cr-Ni-based superalloy with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.It is widely used intheaerospace fieldandisoneof thecommonmaterialsforhigh-temperatureresistant,high-strength,and fatigue-resistant fasteners.Based onthe failure modes and probabilities offasteners during service,this paper focuses on thetypical processing defects that are prone to occur in A286 alloy fasteners during upsetting,heat treatment, and thread forming processes,suchasoverheating,deformed coarse grains,alloy depletion,andthread cracking.It introduces the typical characteristics of these defects,comprehensively analyzes the root causes of their occurrence, andformulates corresponding preventive measures.This provides a reference for the formulation and optimization of A286 alloy fastener processs and contributes to the improvement of the service quality of A286 aloy fasteners.
