Analysis of the Spatial Distribution and Evolution Characteristics of Food Security Levels in County-Level Administrative Regions of Hunan Province

Abstract：Byadoptingthecomprehensiveindex modeloffoodsecurityconstructedbasedonthemodelsofcultivatedlandpresure index，percapita grainposessionqantityandgainsortageindex，thestudysystematicallevauatedandanalyzdthespatial distributionandevolutioncharacteristicsoffodsecuritylevelsincounty-leveladministrativeregionsofHunanProvicefrom21 to2023，andputfoardesodingstategcsggessostofurtimpetfoodseurityevelinunanroind helpensurenationalfoodsecurity.Theresultsshowedthatfrom2oolto2023，thelevelsoffoodsecurityinHunanProvincewereina stablestateofetydowresueovrallbutterestillrtaissibutioofesourcsongoutel administrativereginsinHunanProvincewasuneven：county-leveladministrativeregionswithabundant grainweremainlylocated inthecentralandnorthemplainareas，whilethesituationsoffoodsecurityinmountainouscounty-leveladministrativeginsin thewesternandsoutheasteareas，aswellasubancounty-leveldministrativeregionswithlgepopulationsandighurbazation levelswererelativelysevere.TespatialdiferenesinteleveloffoodseurityinHunanProvinceweretheresultsofthecombied efects ofnaturalandsocio-economic factors.Hence，thestudyproposedsomestrategicsuggstions：furtherkeepingtothered line forthe protectionofcultivatedland，improvingthequalityofcutivatedland，andoptimizingthestructureoflanduserooting agricultural scientificandtchnological innovation，optimizingtheplantingstructure，and makingupforregionalshortcomigs; strengthening thesystematicalregulatioandregionalcolaborationonfoodsecurityimprovingthefoodscurityguaranteestem and enhancing the capacity to respond to risks.
