Abstract:This study took10 germplasms of Miscanthus lutarioriparius colected fromcentral China asthetest materials, systematicalyanalyzed thebiologicalandbiomassqualitytraitsof diferentgermplasmsofM.lutarioriparius,andexploredthe transformation efciencyofhemicelluloseof diferentgermplasmsunder hydrothermal liquefactionconditionsandtheproductivity of xylooligosacchardes and xylose.Theresults showedthatthebiological raitsof diferent germplasms wereichindiversity.The coeficientsofvarationofsolublesubstancesandashcontent wererelativelylarge,butthecontents ofcelllose,hemicellloseand lignin were stable,with the coefficients of variation all less than 10% .After pretreatment by hydrothermal liquefaction, the content of hemicellulose decreased from 23.38% to 7.56% ,while the relative contents of cellulose and lignin in the residue increased significantly. There were significant diferences inthe hydrolysisrateofhemicelluloseandthesugar product productivityamong different M. lutarioripariusgermplasms.TehmicellosehydrolysisrateandxyloseproductivityofgermplasmB234werethehighstaching 67.86% and 34.30% respectively,while the xylooligosaccharides productivity of CO402 was the highest (58.74%) . Overall, the homogeneity of the biomass raw materials from M. lutarioriparius in central China is good,and the stability of its core components isconducivetostandardizedindustrialapplications.Hydrotheraliquefactiontechnologycanachieveefficientdegradationof hemicellulose into target products such as xylooligosaccharides.
