Analysis of the Development Status and Countermeasures of Highland Barley Industry in the Alpine Humid Region of Gannan

Abstract：Highland barley，asthe major foodcrop inthealpine humidregion of Gannan，servesasastrategic grain for politicalsecurityintheGannanTibetanAutonomousPrefecture.Thedevelopmentofthehiglandbarleyindustryplaysasignificant roleinpromotingtheigh-qualitysocioeconomicdevelopmentof theregion.Frothefull-industrychainperspective，cluding breeding，cultivation，procesing，randuilding，andmarketing，thispaperoutlinesthdevelopmentstatusoftehladbarley industryin Gannan.Itfurthernalyzesthe multiplechallngesfacedbytheindustry，suchasoutdatedbreeding technologyortage ofskiledpersonel，incompletesubsidymechanisms，naturalenvironmentalconstraints，weakproductresearchcapacityand inadequatedeep-processngandbrandinfluence.Consideringopportunitiesarisingfromshiftsinconsumptionconpts，policy support，scientificinnovationndculturaltourismdevelopment，severalountermeasuresareproposedsuchsstrengthningpicy supportandoptimizingthedevelopmentenvironment，increasinginvestmentintechnologicalinnovationtobreaktechnical botlenecks，ehancingprocesingcapacitytoextendtheindustrialchainexpandingsaleschanelstoimprovemarketsarend promoting in-depth integration of culture and tourism to enhance the comprehensive value of the industry.
