Abstract：Withtheadjustmentofagriculturalstructureandthedevelopmentneedsofthelivestock industry，theexploration ofhigh-yield，high-qualityand stress-resistant forageresources has become increasingly important.Triticale（ × Triticosecale Witmack），owing toitsonsiderableconomicandecological benefits，hasemergedasahighqualityforageropeceivinggrowing atentionafteralfalfaandmaize.Basedonrecentdomesticandintemationalstudies，thispapersystematicallreviewsthefeeding valuesoftriticalehay，silageadstandempasiesitsaplcationprogessinumnantproductioniludnguonpeef catleanddairyow.Itsotentialolesinduingfeedingcostimprovingfeedutilizationeficiencyndehancingthsstaable competitivenessofChina'sgasslivestock industrarediscussed.Tisorkaims toprovidecoretechicalsupportforfullyaling the potential of triticale and promoting the high-quality development of China's grass-livestock industry.
