Abstract： Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China （the 18th CPC National Congress）， General Secretary XI Jinping，with profound strategic vision and a solid theoretical foundation，has comprehensivelyand systematicallyplanned andadvanced various tasks of reform，and thus putforwarda series of important expositions on comprehensively deepening reform.By adopting the literature analysis method，this paper analyzes the scientific connotations of General Secretary XI Jinping's important expositionson comprehensively deepening reform，specifically emphasizing the need to adhere to the fundamental methodology of Marxist materialist dialectics，respect the lawsof social development，and base itself on the principal contradictionin Chinese society. General Secretary XI Jinping's important expositions on comprehensively depening reform not only provide theoretical support for constructing the reform discourse system of Chinese-style modernization but also offer methodological guidance for resolving practical problems in reform and promoting the effctive implementation of reform measures.The research conclusions serve as a reference for interpreting General Secretary XI Jinping's expositions on comprehensively deepening reform.
