Study on the Removal Performance of Sludge Based Modified Activated Carbon forPerfluorinated PollutantsinLake Water

Abstract:Objective:Tomodifyandprepareactivatedcarbonfortheremovalofperfluorinatedpolutantsinlakewater,andexplore itsperfluorinatedpolutantremovalpeformance.Method:Sludgeispreparedfromdomesticsewage,andthenlanthanumloadedsludge based modified activated carbon is produced.Conduct adsorption experiments on lake water samples in a 23% constant temperature water bath to determine the content of PFOS,PFOA,and PFHxS.Result:After the loading of lanthanum reached 30% ,the growth rate of removal rate slowed down.When the reaction time is 8 hours and the lanthanum loading is 30% , 60g of activated carbon can completely adsorb perfluorinated pollutants in 200mL of water sample,indicating that activated carbon has strong adsorption capacity for perfluorinatedpolutantsndcanbeusedtotreatlakewatecontaingperfuoiatedpolutants.Teremoalateisotialatp.Cocusion: Byoptimizingtheconditions,lanthanumladedsudgebsedmodifiedactivatedcarboncansignificantlyremovepefuornatedpolutants, providing an effective solution for lake water purification and having practical value.
