Abstract：Withtheaccelerationofurbanization，theproblemofwaterpolutioninthecentralareaofcitieshasbecomeincreasingly serious.ThisarticleselectstheancientcityofShaoxingasthersearchareatoonductaalyzetheenviomentalcontrolandgoveance ofwaterpolutiocausedbydanageprojectsintecentralareaofcitiesByanalingthcurentsituationandproblemsofwaterpou tionnvironmentinthencientcitydrainageproject，acomprehensivetreatmentplanincludingpreliminarypreparationandplaing， constructionandoperationmanagementisproposedAmongthem，thedesigedgatecontroltrategyefectivelyeducesthefowofpollu tedwaterdownstreamandlowerstheconcentrationofpolutantsindowstreamwatersourcesbytimelyclosingthecontrolvalve.Tesim ulationexperimentrsultssothattsontrolmetdsgodatertioncontrolabilityanfectivelyvodespreadfater polution，protectdownstreamwaterqualitysafety，improveurbanwaterevironmentqualityandensureresidents'ualityoflife.
