Abstract  Objective：To translate Financial Index of Toxicity Questionnaire（FIT） into Chinese，and test its reliability and validity in patients with head and neck cancer.Methods：The Brislin translation model was used to translated，back⁃translated，culturally debugged  and pre⁃investigation for FIT.Expert consultation was conducted，and 152 patients with head and neck cancer from a tertiary grade A hospital in Chengdu was selected to conduct a questionnaire survey to test reliability and validity of the questionnaire.Results：The Chinese version of FIT included 3 dimensions，with a total of 9 items.Its internal consistency Cronbach's α was 0.896，the retest reliability was 0.783（P<0.05），the scale⁃level CVI was 0.830，and the item⁃level CVI ranged from 0.822 to 1.000.A total of 3 common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis，and the cumulative explained variance contribution rate was 77.858%.Conclusions：The Chinese version of FIT has good reliability and validity in patients with head and neck cancer in China，and can be used as a tool for assessing the risk of economic toxicity in patients with head and neck cancer.
