Effects of Rhizobial Inoculation on Growth and Physiology of Forage Soybean atDifferent Nitrogen Levels

Abstract:In order to investigate the effects of inoculationsoybean rhizobiaat different nitrogen levels on the growth and physiology of hybrid soybeans (Glycine soja Sieb. et Zucc),in this study ‘Mengnong SO06 hybrid forage soybean’(Glycine soja Sieb. et Zucc cv. Hybrid F-SO06),referred to as SOO6,was planted with ver miculite,and four nitrogen levels CK(0g⋅kg-1) , N1(0.714g⋅kg-1) , N2(1.428g⋅kg-1) and N3 (2.142 g⋅kg-1 ) were set up. Three strains of rhizobia isolated from the root nodules of SOo6 in the experimental planting plot were respectively inoculated and named ( Z1,Z2,Z Z3) . The effects of rhizobia inoculation at different nitrogen levelsonplant height,nodules,leaf length,leaf width,biomass,photosynthetic indexes,soluble sugar content,catalase content and other indexes of SOO6 were studied. Thirty days after inoculation with rhizobia,the growth indexes and physiological indexes of SO06 were measured.The results showed that the application of nitrogen at N2 level could significantly increase the photosynthesis and biomass of SoO6,and the physiological effect was more significant under the treatment of Rhizobia Z1
