Abstract:Auxin-amido synthetases (Gretchen Hagen 3,GH3),as early auxin-responsive genes,play a key rolein regulating plant growth,development,and responses to abiotic stress.To identify GH3 genes in Buchloe dactyloides that respond to drought stress,this study used bioinformatics methods to identify 16GH3 family genes in the genome of Buchloe dactyloides‘honglinyu No.1'. The BdGH3 genes in B . dactyloides are unevenly distributed across 11 chromosomes. Motif and gene structure analyses revealed that most BdGH3 genes contain conserved motifs(Motifl to Motif1O)andO to 2 exons.Subcelllar localization predictions ndicated that fifteen BdGH3 proteins are localized in the chloroplasts.Phylogenetic tree analysis indicated that
BdGH3 genes are clustered into three subfamilies.Cis -acting element analysis showed that BdGH3 genes contain multiple cis-acting elements related to light signals,hormone signals,and drought stress.Expression pattern analysis revealed that the expresson levels of BdGH3.1 and BdGH3.15 in leaves,and BdGH3.5 and BdGH3.9 in roots,were significantly up-regulated throughout the drought stress period.The results of this study provide a theoretical reference for further functional research on BdGH3 genes and the drought - response mechanism in B. dactyloides.
