Abstract:In view offlow field load characteristics and pipeline strength of ultra-high pressure (UHP)choke and killmanifold system,Ansys Workbench software was usedtosimulate thefluid-structure interactionof the pipeline ofachokeand killmanifold.Inorder to verifythe influence of different mediaon pipeline flow field and pipeline stres,the flow and pipeline stress of three fluid media (drilling fluid, methane,and two-phase flowofdrilling fluidand methane)were simulated.Inaddition,inorder to study the influence ofoutlet closure ontheflow fieldand pipeline,theflowfieldcharacteristicsand pipeline stress characteristics ofdiferentoutlet opening and closing combinations were analyzed.The results show that the local velocity of the flow field generated bythe methane fluid islarger,and the pressureon the pipeline islarger.Whenlessoutletisopened, there is greater pressure on the pipeline,and the pipeline is more dangerous. Under the action of methane,the choke and killmanifold pipeline willyield locally at the intersection of the pipeline,but most of the pipeline area is stillintheelasticrange.Theresearch resultscanprovideatheoreticalbasisforthedesign,manufacture, and engineering application of UHP pipelines.
