Abstract:The development background, current status,and future prospects of oil-gas pressurization and multiphase pumps reveal that with the fluctuationof internationaloil prices,the highcostoftraditionaloilfield distribution technologies has led to the adoption ofoil-gas multiphase transport technologyas a trend for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. The structures and performance of axialflow,rotary,and reciprocating multiphase pumps were summarized, highlighting that the liquid-driven reciprocating multiphase pumps exhibited higher effciencyand adaptability inoilfield applications.Inaddition,these pumps could handle the multiphase fluid eficiently under complex operating conditions and reduce the maintenance requirements. The future development of liquid-driven reciprocating multiphase pumps was prospected, suggesting further improvements in sealing technology and the adoption of adaptive controlsystems to enhance their efficiency and reliability.
