Abstract:In view of the sand production problem of oil wells in the field of oil extraction,the performance optimization of multi-stage sand prevention protectors is of great significance for improving the stabilityand economy of oilfield production.In this paper,byconstructing a finite element simulation model for the sand particle transportation in pipelines under intermittent flow of the reciprocating sucker rod pump,combined with the analysis of the flow field and sand particle movement,the sand particle movement mechanism was revealed,and the performance parameters of the multi Π-Π stage sand prevention protector were calculated accordingly.The engineering prediction formula was obtained.The sand storage rate showed a linear change with the diameter of the screen pipe and the number of check valves,while it showed a cubic change with the length of the screen pipe. The cleaning cycle varied to the fourth power with the diameter and length of the screen pipe,while it varied to the second power with the number of check valves.It provided theoretical and engineering guidance for the design,optimization,and application of multi-stage sand prevention protectors.
