Abstract:To meet the development needs of the "1O OoO-meter deep well",developed the first QDP3000U five-cylinder drilling pump unit with an operating pressure of 7O MPa in China,aiming to prolong the service life of the vulnerable components at the hydraulic end and enhance the reliability of the pump unit,thus making it adapt to the complex working conditions in deep wels.Based on the whole-machine tests with clean water as the medium,two sets of operation test schemes for oil-based mud were designed,and a simulation test platform was built.In response to the problems of excessively high mud temperature and leakage of components in the pressure-regulating device in the first set of schemes,improvements were made by adding a mud cooling device and optimizing the materials and structures of the pressure-regulating components,and the operation test verification of the optimized scheme was completed.The optimized test scheme effectively solved the erosion problem of high- pressure fluid on pipe fitings,successfully controlled the mud temperature,significantly prolonged the service life of the vulnerable components at the hydraulic end,and met the requirements of continuous operation.This test scheme could serve as arecommended method for the optimization,finalization,and service life operation verification of the vulnerable components at the hydraulic end of driling pump unitsunder the conditions of high-pressure,high specific gravity,and highly corrosive oil-based mud medium,providing a powerful guarantee for improving the comprehensive performance of driling pump units and the reliability of the system.
