Abstract：Transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation （TEAS）isanon-invasive therapy that integrates Chinese medicineacupointtheorywith modern electrophysiology technology，and significantlypromotespostoperative functional recovery through physiological modulationefectsmediated by electrical stimulation.TEASregulates the nervous， endocrine，and immune systems bystimulating specificacupoints，which is helpful to reduce surgical stress，post - operativecomplications，shorten the length of hospital stayandreduce costs，and improve patient satisfaction.At present， thereis no standardizedguidelineontheclinicalapplicationofTEAS.Thispaper willreview theclinical aplicationof TEAS in gastrointestinal surgery，obstetricsand gynecology，thoracic medicine，orthopedic postoperative recovery，and assistedreproductive technology inreproductive medicine from theaspects of parameter regulation，acupoint selection， andrelatedmechanismsinlightofthedomesticand internationalresearchliteratureinrecentyears，aiming toprovide references for the standardization ofTEAS in the application of different clinical disciplines.
