The research progress of non-invasive myocardial work technology in early assessment of cardiotoxicity associated with dual-target therapy in breastcancerpatients

Abstract:Withthewidespreadapplicationofhuman epidermalgrowth factorreceptor2(HER2)targeteddualtherapyin breastcancer treatment,related cardiotoxicityisuesare increasingly becominga pressing challenge tobeadressed clinically.Non-invasive myocardial work(MW)technology,an emerging evaluation toobasedonechocardiographic pressure-strainloops,showspotential intheearlydiagnosisofcardiotoxicityinbreastcancer patients.Thisarticle systematicallreviews the potential mechanismsofcardiotoxicityrelated to HER2-targeted dual therapyin breastcancer andthelimitations of existing diagnosticandtreatment methods.Thetheoretical basis,measurementmethods,and core parametersofnon-invasivemyocardial work technologyare discussed in depth.Based onthe latest literature,this articleanalyzesthesensitivityandspecificityadvantagesofnon-invasivemyocardialwork technologyintheearly identificationofcardiotoxicity,comparing itwith traditionalassssment markers.Additionally,thepreliminaryclinical aplicationresultsofthis technologyindynamicallymonitoring changesinheartfunctionandguiding individualized treatmentadjustmentsaresummarized.Current studies indicate thatnon-invasive myocardialwork technologyoutperforms traditionalmethodsintheearlydetectionofcardiotoxicityrelatedtoHER2-targeteddualtherapyinbreastcancer,with higher sensitivityandbroader prospects.However,mostcurrentstudiesaresmal-scale,single-centerexploratorystudies, andhigher-levelclinicalevidenceisneededforvalidation.Futureresearchshouldfocusonmulti-center,large-scale, prospectiveclinical trials,standardizing measurement processs,andactivelyexploringAI-assistedanalysisandmultimodal imaging integration,withthegoalof incorporatingthis technologyintotheclinicaldecision-makingpathwayof cardio-oncologyand related guidelines.
