Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore the predictive value of cancerous inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A(CIP2A)and CC chemokine ligand 20(CCL20) expression on the prognosis of patients undergoing surgery for glioma. MethodsThe clinical data of 87 patients with brain gliomas admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery,Haian People's Hospital from May 2O19 to May 2023wereanalyzed retrospectively.All patientsreceiveda standardized postoperative chemoradiotherapy regimen. Based on 2-year follow-up survival outcomes,patients were categorized into a poor prognosis group ( )anda favorable prognosis group( n=59 ). Clinical characteristics and differences in CIP2A and CCL2O expression were compared between groups. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis assessed the relationship between each indicator and patient prognosis, with receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves plotted to determine predictive value.
ResultsPatients in the good prognosis group had higher preoperative Karnofsky performance status (KPS) scores >70 ,WHO grade I-I ,low CIP2A expression, and CCL20-negative rates compared to the poor prognosis group( P<0.05) .Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that WHO grade, KPS score, CCL2O expression,and CIP2A expression level were independent risk factors influencing the prognosis of brain glioma surgery patients. ROC curve analysis showed that the combined predictive area under curve(AUC) was O. 845,higher than that of individual indicators( P<0. 05 ).ConclusionsCIP2A and CCL2O can be used as effective predictors of postoperative prognosis in patients with gliomas,and the combined test has higher clinical value.
