Abstract: Cardiovasculardisease (CVD)isoneof the leadingcausesof death globaly,characterizedbyhighmorbidityand mortalityrates.MetabolicdisordersarecriticalriskfactorsforCVD.Inrecentyears,growingevidencehashighlightedthe crucialroleofguticrobiotaintheoset,progesionandpathologicalmechanismsofbothmetabolicdiseasesand. Akkermansiamuciiphila(A.mucinipila),apromisingnxtgenerationprobiotic,hasatractedconsiderableateniondueto its unique metabolic functions and immunomodulatory properties.This review systematically summarizes the mechanisms andresearchprogressregardingtheroleofA.muciniphilainmetabolicdiseasesandcardiovasculardiseases.Itelucidateshow thisbacteriumexertsbeneficialefectsonmetabolicdisordersthroughmultiplepathways,ncludingimprovinggutbarrier function,eglaglipddoemebsmasgtinattciddiopingo responses.MeanwhileA.muciniphilaisalsonvolvedincardiovasularprotectieprocessessuchasanti-atherosclerosisblod pressureregulation,allviationofatrialfibilltion,andimprovementofpulmonaryarterial hypertension.Itsmechanisms involveimmunomodulation,regulationofmetabolites,andmuli-evelinteractionsalongthegutcardiovascularaisoing novelmicrobial targetsandstrategiesforinterveninginrelateddiseases.
