Abstract:【Objective】Management measurement Pinus koraiensis plantations diferent siteindexes wereoptimied andthe management modelswereconstructedwithaconstraint thatthinning frombelow,toguidethemulti-objective managementandformulatethemulti-objectivemanagementplansPinuskoraiensisplantationsinHeilongjiang Province,soastoimprovethemulti-objectivemanagementlevel plantations inChina.【Method】Multi-atributeutility functions including wood production(WP),large log production(LLP)and cone yield(CY)were maximized using the following weights for the three management objectives: 0.25,0.25and0.50 respectively.The management schedule was optimized for 41 plots young Pinus koraiensis plantations in Heilongjiang Province,using a stand growth simulator and adierential evolutionoptimization algorithm.Three models were developedusing standvariablesaspredictors:the number treesper hectareat thinning,thinning intensity indiferent diameterclasses(describedbyaparameter the logistic function,indicating the diameter when the thinning intensity is 50% ),and the average diameterat breast height (DBH)at clear-cuting.【Result】Theoptimal number trees atthinning was significantly negativelycorrelatedwith he average diameterat breastheightandpositivelycorrelatedwiththesite index.Theparameter thelogistic function showedapositivecorrelation with theaverage diameteratbreastheightandthesiteindex.Theaverage diameteratclearcutting was positively correlated with the site index and negatively correlated with the number trees.The Ra2 the three models number treesperhectare during thinnng,thinning intensityandaveragediameterat breast heightduring clear-cutting were at 0.930,0.798 and 0.965,respectively.The mean error the three models was at 2.000trees/hm2 , -0.015 and O.128 cm,and the mean absolute errors was at ,1.238 and 0.165 cm,respectively. 【Conclusion】Theaveragenumber trees intheforestatthinning ispositivelycorelatedwiththesiteindex and negativelycorelatedwithaverage standDBH.TheaveragestandDBHincreaseswiththeincreasethesiteindexat thinning.TheaveragestandDBHforestswithpoor stand duringclear-cuting issmallerthanthat those with good stand.
