Abstract：Inthe theoreticalframework of traditional Chinese medicine，thecore structureof "syndrome-diseaseprescription-medicine"constitutesthefoundationoftreatmentbasedonsyndromediferentiation，as wellas thebasis of clinical reasoningand decision-making.With thecontinuous iterationandadvancement of artificial inteligence（AI） technologyinthe fieldof human health，itsapplicationin traditional Chinesemedicine has become increasingly widespread.Traditional Chinese medicine theoretical research and clinical practice can also leverage inteligent data analysis，ofering new pathways forthe development of traditional Chinese medicine theory.By systematicall reviewing the aplication progressof AIin traditionalChinese medicine syndromerecognition，diseasediagnosis，andprescription and medicine selection，this paper analyzes the specific practices of modern data procesing technologies such as naturallanguage processing，knowledgegraphs，anddeep learning indataminingandmodeling.Italso identifiesthe challengesfacing thedevelopment ofAI intraditional Chinese medicine，includingthecomplexityof data structures，the strong polysemyof knowledgerepresentation，and insuffcient model interpretability.Thepaper emphasizes the need to strengthn the integrationof multi-sourceheterogeneousdataand toconstructastandardized traditional Chinese medicine knowledgesystem，therebyenhancing theclinicaladaptabilityand interpretabilityofAI models.Froma theoretical perspective，thisstudyaims topromotethedeep integrationof traditional ChinesemedicineandAI， facilitating a new pattern for the development of intelligent traditional Chinese medicine.
