Bibliometric and Visual Analysis of Chinese Medicine in Treating Hand，Foot，and Mouth Disease Based on CiteSpace

Abstract：Objective：To analyze the research overview，hotspots，and frontier trends of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of hand，foot，and mouth disease（HFMD）basedon bibliometric，thus providing evidence for optimizing clinical strategies and research planning.Methods：Abibliometric analysis was conducted on Chinese and English literature related to Chinese medicine treatment of HFMD published between January1，1985， and December31，2024，retrievedfrom CNKIandthe Webof Science Core Collction（WoSCC）.Results：Atotal of 1373 Chineseand29 English publications were included.The annual number of publications in this field showed a fluctuatingincreasing trendstartingfrom2O07，withthefirstEnglisharticlepublished in2O12.Inthisfield，China was thecountry with thehighest number of publications；Shandong Universityof Traditional Chinese Medicinewas the institution withthe mostpublications inthe Chinese literaturedatabase，whiletheChinaAcademyof Chinese Medical Sciencesand Shanghai Universityof TraditionalChinese Medicine were theleading institutions intheEnglish literature database；New Chinese Medicinewas the journal with the highest publicationvolume.Basedonresearch directions from various teams，combined with keyword clustering and burstanalyses，research hotspots in Chinese medicine treatment of HFMD were identified，focusing on clinical eficacy，immune function，Xiao'erChiqiao Qingre Granules，Chinese medicine nursingcare，and herbal fumigation and washing.Conclusion：Research on Chinese medicine treatment of HFMDdemonstrates astable development trend，with abundant achievements from various research teamsand diversified research hotspots，providing theoretical references and practical guidance for future studies on Chinese medicine prevention and treatment of HFMD.
