Abstract：Basedon the theoryof the "heart-mind，chest cavity，and brain orifices"axis，thecore pathogenesis ofcoronary heart disease（CHD）complicatedbyanxietyanddepresionlies inthefunctionaldysregulationof thesethree elements.Malnutritionof the heart-mind isthe internal basis fortheonset，deficiencyandstagnationof pectoral qi in thechestcavityis thecorelinkinthedisturbanceofqi movement，andmalnourishmentofthe brainorificesisthedirect factor affecting mental abnormalities.Accordingly，the treatment principlesof "calmingthe heartand stabilizingthe mind，regulating chest qitorestore itsfreeflow，andnourishing thebrainorificeand promoting itsvitality"are proposed.Through therapeutic methods such as nourishing the heart and replenishing blood，soothing thechest and flushing phlegm away，supplementing pectoral qi，resolving phlegm，anddispelling stasis，the goal ofharmonizing qi andblood，unblocking the heart vessels，and stabilizing the mind can beachieved.This provides anew clinical perspectiveand methodology for the preventionand treatment of CHD complicated byanxietyand depression in traditional Chinese medicine.
