Abstract：Based on the theory of sweat pores，this study aims to elucidate the pathological nature of chronic kidneydiseasecharacterized byroot deficiencyand branch excess，and toexplore the theoretical basisand clinical experience of Chinese medicine retention enema in the treatment of this disease.Thecore disease locationof chronic kidney disease is the kidney.Renal sweat pores，as part of thesweat pore system，serves both as agateway for the ascending，descending，entering，and exiting ofqi movement andas apathway forthe circulation of body fluids and blood.Stagnationand obstruction of renal sweat pores constitutethe main pathological basis of chronic kidney disease. Depending onthe diferent etiological factors and pathological mechanisms leading to sweat pores obstruction，various methods are clinicall employed to open the sweat pores，including dispersion，heat-clearing，deficiency-tonifying， blood-activating，and toxin-removing.Chinese medicine retentionenema is used toregulate theqi movementof triple energizer，stimulatetheqi transformationinthelower energizer，promote thedirectdeliveryof medicinalefects tothe diseased location，unblock renal sweat pores，restore the normal opening and closing of sweat pores，and facilitate the normal circulation ofqi，blood，and body fluids.Thisapproach may helpdelaydisease progression andis intended to provide new insights for clinical treatment.
