Research on the Construction of a User-Oriented Value Framework for Cultural and Creative Product Development in UniversityLibraries

Abstract The development of cultural and creative products in university libraries should embed user needs into toplevel design and carry them through theentire product development process.Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory andareviewof relevant literature,this paper constructsauser-centered value framework for culturalandcreative product development in university libraries. Questionnaire surveys and KANO model analysis are employed to clasify andrank the elements ofthevalue framework.Empiricalresults show that practical value,collction value,social value, spiritual value,knowledge value,aesthetic value,andcultural value exhibit aclear priorityorder within the framework. Accordingly,university libraries shoulddevelopculturaland creativeproductsunder theguidanceoftheuser value hierarchybyclarifying valueconnotationsand hierarchical positioning,focusingonvalue contentand experience optimization,and expanding value scenarios and application boundaries.
