Study on the Cellulose Acetate Paper Enhancement Technology for Cigarette Filter

Abstract：Tissdyiliaceatefbundlesashearyateallnddwitantestoproducecellloseaceter （CAP）fortobacoefilinvaatigCA'silegtbilityndilitsatotiusi trialswerecoducedtstaaciiturtesiiteompsifisultsaedtalp ditions： average fibre bundle length of 2.5～3.5 mm，softwood pulp as the blending pulp type at 30% proportion， refining degree of 55～70 oSR， and addition of 2% ZM24-2 nanocellulose. This configuration increased CAP tensile strength by 278% .Cigarette filtration tests showed that the tar content was reduced by 9.4% compared to pure acetate filter，whilst air permeabilityand softness met requirements for filter formation on the filter moulding machine.
