Application of evidence-based evidence to in-hospital transport of emergency critically ill patients

Abstract Objective：To investigate the application of evidence-based best evidence in hospital transport of critical patients in emergency department，and to evaluate its effect.Methods："Evidence continuous quality improvement model graph" was used as the theoretical framework to construct a dynamic circular practice process.The changes of outcome indicators at system level，medical staff level and patient level were compared before and after the application of best evidence.Results：At the system level，the hospital transport system and process guidelines of critical patients in emergency department were established，and the admission and handover record sheet of emergency patients was revised.At the level of medical staff，the scores of medical staff′s knowledge about safety norms for transport of critically ill patients increased from（45.56±16.45） to（72.44±13.68），with statistical significance（P<0.001）;Before and after the application of evidence，there was a statistically significant difference in the implementation of relevant review indicators of critical patient transport by medical staff（P<0.001）;At the patient level，the incidence of adverse events decreased from 26.8% to 4.7%，with statistical significance（P<0.001）.Conclusion：The practice of in-hospital transport of critically ill patients based on evidence-based evidence can reduce the incidence of adverse events during the transport of critically ill patients，improve the cognition level of medical staff on the safety of transport，and ensure the safety of patient transport to the greatest extent.
