APreliminary Study on the Adaptive Cultivation of Cigar Tobacco in Eshan County

Abstract：InordertoexploretheadaptiveplantingareaofigartobaccoinEshanCountyafeldtrialwasconductedusingeulti varYunxeNo39crossthreedistinctlocations：Xiaojiesubdistrict，TadiantowandDalongtantowship.Throughtheaalyisof mainagronomictraits，yield，qualityanddiseaseresistane，theresultsshowedthatallthreecultivationregionsprovedsuitablefor cigartobacoproduction，withtheplantsxhibitedfavorablegowthpeformance，favorableleafappearancequalitywell-balanced chemicalcompositionprofiles，andoptialyieldparameters withnosignificantdiseaseoccurrence.Notably，thetobaccplantsgrow inTadiantowemostatedsuperorgronomictraits，incdingplanthightumberofectivelaves，terodespaingdlf size.Meanwhile，Tadian town achieved the highest tobacco yield of 1506.01kg⋅hm-2 ，alongwith the top scores inboth theLeaf AppearanceQualityIndex（AQI）andChemicalCompositionUsabilityIndex（CCUI）forindustrialapplications.Therefore，Tadiantown canbeidentifedasthemostsuitablecuivationaeaforcigartobaccoinEshancounty.Inconlusion，thisstudyprovidesoetical foundationsandpracticalreferences forselecting optimal cultivation zones for cigar tobacco production inYuxi city.
