Research and Analysis of Thermal Management System for Light Truck Hybrid Vehicles

Abstract: According to market research, the 4.5-ton light truck hybrid model is prone to intermittent high temperature problems andengine high temperature alarms in some areas of the southwestern market during summer. After visiting customers, it was found thatthe area is mountainous with long lane slopes, with the longest uphill section reaching 25km. The vehicle is severely overloaded andworks under high torque and low-speed torque conditions when climbing long slopes. The engine compartment airflow is not smooth,and heat is generated when the air conditioning is turned on in summer, which increases the ambient temperature of the compartment.The low engine speed leads to low fan speed and low airflow, and the heat management system has a heavy heat dissipation burden,making the engine prone to high temperatures.
