Strength and Modal Analysis of Automobile Frame Based on CAE
Abstract: Almost all assembly parts of the car are installed on the frame assembly through the bracket, such as the cab, engine, fueltank, battery and so on. Frame assembly is one of the most important assembly in the car, it bears the mass of the major assembly andthe bending moment and longitudinal force generated, uneven road will also make the frame produce torsion Angle, so the frame needsto have enough strength. In this paper, the strength analysis model of truck frame is established by CAE finite element analysis method.The boundary conditions and calculation methods of frame vertical, front torsion, back torsion, counter torsion and side were determined,which provided a theoretical basis for frame structure design.
