The Impact of Digital Economy Development in RCEP Partner Countries on China's Exports of Aquatic Products

Abstract： The digital economy，as a new driving force of China's economy，has a wide-ranging impact on economic development， including seafood export trade. This paper takes the perspective of digital economic development in RCEP partner countries and conducts a theoretical analysis of how RCEP partner countries' digital economic development drives China's seafood export development. Based on panel data from the 11 RCEP countries from 2OO3 to 2O22，the paper empirically studies the impact of RCEP partner countries' digital economic development on China's seafood exports and its mechanism of action. The study finds that： （1） RCEP partner countries' digital economic development significantly promotes China's seafood exports; （2）RCEP partner countries' digital economy indirectly promotes seafood exports by lowering trade costs and enhancing technological innovation;（3） the impact of RCEP partner countries' digital economy on exports exists in regional diffrences. According to the above conclusions，the study puts forward targeted policy recommendations.
