Abstract：Asanorganicwholethatisinterrelated，interconnectedand mutuallyinfluential，thenew development concept providesclear ideological guidance and logical approach for promoting the high-quality development of maratho events from thedimensionsof core driving force，internal requirements，ecological foundation，inevitable path and value goals.However，compared with the mature experience of the marathon industry in the United States， China stillfaces multiplepractical predicaments in the high-quality development process of marathon events：the phenomenonof content homogenization is relativelycommonandthe inovative roleof users needs to beactivated;the developmentof events is unbalanced and the diffrences among keyconstituent elements arequite obvious；the concept of gren event hosting has notbeen effectively implementedand the eficiency of environmental governance urgently needs to beenhanced；the organizational system lacks openness and the internationalization level of the contestants islimited；the developmentof business，sportsand public welfare is unbalanced，deviating from the requirement of universal sharing. Based on this，the folowing specific practical approaches are proposed： Implement a diferentiateddevelopment strategytoactivate the vitalityof systemcollaborative innovation；Implementthe principle ofoverall coordinationand promote theoptimization ofthe structure of event elements；Improve the green governance mechanism to promote the sustainable development of events；Improve the organizational operationsystem and enhancethe levelof opennessof events to the outside world；Adhere to the people-orientedorientationand enhance the inclusiveness and equality of events.
