Abstract: This study investigates the effects of pulse frequency,width,and voltage onthe microstructure and mechanical properties of M170P/DC06 stel differential thickness plates welded joints using an SW-50o Nd:YAG pulsed laser.Results indicate that the DCO6 steel thin plate HAZ exhibitscoarse blocky ferite,whilethe M170P steel thick plate HAZconsistsoffine ferriteand granular bainite.Optimal hardness(2OoHV)is achieved at 20Hz pulse frequency and 300mm/min welding speed,with a gradient decrease from thick to thin plate.
