Abstract: This study isbased onEBSD(Electron Backscatered Diffraction)spectra to simulate and model austenitic stainless steel welds,exploring indepth the propagation patterns of array signals inaustenitic stainless steel welds, aswell as thereflection,scattring,andtransmission patternsofultrasonicwavesatdefectsandinterfaces.The research results indicate thatdue to the large diference inacoustic impedance and the influenceofangleontheecho ofcrack defects,areasonableacousticdeflectionangle should be selected during detection to improve thedetection ability;Poredefects have high acoustic impedance and high echo sound pressure values,which can be used to locate their upper surface position and characterize their size through echoes;As the size of slag inclusion defects increases, the reflected echoes willseparate,and the size needs tobe determined by combining the echoes and duration; When the rootopening defectisvertically incident,theupper tipecho is strongandthe lowertipecho is weak.The oblique incidence method should be used and the probe position should be changed to improve the detection rate.The results of this studycan provideimportantreferences for the development ofaustenitic stainless steel welddetection processes,and help to formulate more effective detection processes and quality control measures.
