Abstract:In order to provide certain data support and scientific basis for the management and protection of fishery resources in the Hechuan National Aquatic Germplasm Reserve in Jialing River,the Simrad EY60 beam echo detector was used in the spring(April)and autumn(October)of 2019 to conduct a hydroacoustic survey on the spatiotemporal distribution of fish in the conservation area.The results show that the density of fish in most sections of the reserve is less than 10×10-3 ind.·m-3 ,and the horizontal spatiotemporal distribution of fish is uneven.In spring,fish are mainly distributed in sections such as Xiaonantuo,Dongjintuo,Yanjiaba,Moershi Shuibi Courtyard,Bagongfen Yunmen,and Lizechang river.In autumn,fish are mainly distributed in sections such as Juliangtuo,Diaocheng-Xiaonantuo,and YunmenQianniufangfang.Meanwhile,the vertical spatiotemporal distribution of fish is uneven,with a fish density of lower layer > middle layer > upper layer in spring and autumn.In addition,the composition of fish in spring and autumn is dominated by smalland medium-sized individuals,showing a trend of miniaturization,and the amount of fish resources is not high.Obviously the fish resources in the conservation area continue to face serious threats,so further efforts are needed to strengthen their protection.
