Abstract:This study aims to scree thechemical fungicides and activecomponents of Chinese herbal medicines with strong inhibitoryeffectsonlilyotrot.WithFusarmoxsporumf.sp.lilistepathogen,themyelialgrowthratemethodwasadopted todeterminetheinhibitoryefectsof34Chineseherbalmedicineextractsand5chemicalfungicidescommonlyusedinthefield on this pathogen. The results showed that among the 5chemical fungicides, 80% mancozeb exerted the strongest inhibitory effect onthemycelialgrowthanditwasthusrecommendedforfeldapplicationincombinationwithotherfungicidesfeaturingdiferent mechanisms.Amongthe34Chineseherbalmedicineextracts,PelodendriChinensis CortexandAurantiFructus extracts exertedthe strongest inhibitory effects on the mycelial growth,with the inhibitionratesof 67.0% and 58.6% ,respectively.Therefore,theyserveas novel plant-derived fungicides for the prevention and control of lily root rot.
