Abstract:Shale gas casing may deform under the influence ofengineering and geological factors.Changes in the internal structure of the casing can cause damages such as reduced fluid flow capacity and blockage.The diameterof shale gascasing isusuall around139.7mm,and itis diffcult for general detection equipment to enteror directly detectthe internal deformation process and structural characteristics after deformation.Inthe paper,under experimental conditions,a deformed casing was obtained by simulating the stress situation of the casing,and a non-contact casing internal deformation automatic measurement device based on laser ranging sensor was designed.Then,a circumferential traversal detection method for the internal profileofsmal-sizedcasing that is compatible with the device was proposed to conduct screening on alarge number of sample points obtained from he detection.Finally,the cubic spline interpolation algorithm was used to conduct smoothing processing on the discrete data,thereby reconstructing a clear and intuitive three-dimensional image of the casing interior.The research and testresults show thatthe designed device enables direct internal detection of casing,with convenient replacementof lasersensor toaccommodate internal detectionof differentsizes of pipelines.The ploted 3Dreconstruction image clearlyand intuitivelycharacterizes the internal specific dataand morphology of deformation locations,achieving automatic and precise detection of theradius at any point in thecasing,with adetection accuracy of less than ±0 .1 mm. The conclusions drawn provide reference for the detection of shale gas casing.
