Abstract:Affected byenvironmental corrosion,internal load impact and thermal processing defects,highpressure elbows develop micro-cracks,often appearing as multiple cracks with highly random distributions,which puts forward higher requirements for the pulse current repair technology.In the paper,a combined approach of theoreticalanalysis and simulation analysis was used to investigate the influenceoffour typical multi-crack configurations(double-paralel cracks,double-vertical cracks,single-vertical-double-paralel cracks,and singleparalel-double-vertical cracks)on the repair efect of high-pressure elbow cracks,and analyze the temperature fieldand stressfield distribution inthe elbow matrix under different crack configurations after theaction of pulse current,as wellas the closure law ofcrack notches.The study results show that the temperature diffrence between the double-parallel crack front and the adjacent matrix is only 20‰ ,which isunfavorable for crack healing.The energyrequired fordouble-vertical cracks to meet therepair condition is1.O6 times that forsingle-vertical crack. In composite cracks with both verticaland paralel configurations,,the vertical crack is the mainone thatintercepts the current,so the electrode orientationcan be adjusted to makethe current flow direction perpendicular to the crack plane,thereby improving thecrack repair efect.The studyresults provide theoretical basis and technological guidance forthe application of pulse current repair method in the field of petroleum equipment.
