Abstract：Coiled tubing digital operation technology is the organic integration ofcoiled tubing technology with computer and internet technologies.It enables data perception，autonomous analysis and automatic control during coiled tubing operations，and plays a positiverole in improving the eficiency，safetyand reliabilityof coiled tube operation.On the basis of summarizing the development of coiled tubing operation technologyaround the world， the problems and improvement potentials ofcoiled tubing technology in China were pointed out.The progress and achievements of coiled tubing digital operation sensing technology，automatic control technology，operation analysis technologyand team management technology were systematically analyzed.The importance of accelerating the research ofcoiled tubing digital operation technology was discussed，and the development suggestions such as the integration of measurement and control of downhole operation system，autonomous operation decision-making， intellgent remote technical support and refined management of operation teams were put forward，in the hope of promotingtherapid transformationof coiled tubing operations from“experience-driven”to“data-driven”in China， and further supporting the efficient development of unconventional oil and gas resources.
