Abstract：Thispaperadoptsgraycorelationanalysis，locationquotint methodanddeviation-shareanalysis tosystematicallstudy therelationshipbetweentheminingindustryndthedevelopmentofthenationalconomyinJiangxiprovinceaswellastheipact oneconomicgrowth.TheresultsshowthatJiangxi province'snon-ferrous metaloremining industry，non-metalicoremining industry，nonmetallcmineralproductsindustryandon-ferousmetalsmeltingandrolingprocessingindustryarefourrelatively strongcompetitiveadvantages；thekeysectorsforthedevelopmentoftheminingeconomyandthecultivationand growthof the characteristicindustresrenon-metallcmineralproductsidustryadnon-ferousmetalsmeltingandrollngprocessingiustry. Takingtheresultsoftheaboveanalysisasawhole，thisstudybelievesthatthedevelopmentofmining industryinJiangxiprovince should be based on different sectors，adjusting the investment in capital and talents respectively.
