Abstract：Ruraltiletehabitationisucialtoimprovinguralsanitationandtequalityoffrmers’life.However，inteorest regionofCinteprossdetoftiletreovatioasotetepectatsduetovrietyoffctorsuchsolouhtd economy.Tofacilitatetheinvestigation，thispapertkGnsuProvinceinnorthwestChinaastheseachject，fistlevieingnd exploringthedevelopmenthtoryofthetoiletrevolutionalyzingtedataoftoiletrenovationinGansuProvinceintepastfiears， andthenexploringthecurrntsituationoftoiletrenovationandtheproblemsfaced，andconductingacomprehensiveoverviewand comparativeanalysisofterelevantechologiesofruraltoiletrenovationincoldandaridareas.Onthisbasis，furthersuggestiosand outlooksontoiletrenoationteologiesanagntdaitenaceaselloptizationdssessmntmethdsoftltsol andaridreaswereproposedtoforasustainablesstemfromdismantlingtoconstructionasellasomprehesiveutlizatioof toilet wastes.Thisstudyotonlyprovidessomeguidanceforfuturetoiletetrofitingutalsoprovidesneessayeferecendispiatifor retrofitting work in other regions with similar conditions.
