Abstract：Archival data is a key production element supporting the construction of Digital China. Theelementization ofarchival data has becomean inevitablechoice for the integration of the archival cause into thenationalbigdatastrategy.Asa new domainofarchivaldata，theelementizationofarchival data facesaseriesof theoreticaland practical challenges，which hinderthe process ofelementization ofarchivaldataandurgently requirea rational reflection.Based on the current research statusandpractical progressoftheelementizationof archival data，this paper summarizes and refines thethinkingpatterns ofthe elementizationof archival data，and deeplyanalyzesthecognitive confusionin theelementization ofarchival data.Onthis basis，itstrengthens the rational reflection on the elementizationofarchival data，correctstheaction path of the elementization ofarchival data from multipledimensions，activatesthevalueofarchival dataelement，and empowers the innovative developmentof new quality productive forces.
