Abstract:Spray-seeding technologycanefectivelyrestore theecological environment of damagedmountain slopes. However,variationsinthephysicochemicalpropertiesof slopesoilandvegetationgrowthconditions—resultingfrom technicalmeasuresand human factors—limit our understanding ofcarbon sequestration on slopes.This studyanalyzed the characteristicsandinfluencing factors of carbon storageindamaged slopes in Zhangzhou restored usingaggregate sprayseeding technology.Theresultsshowed thatcarbon storage decreased sequentialy fromthe tree layer to soil,root system,andierlayer,withthedominant treespeciesLeucaena leucocephalainthetreelayercontributingsignificantlyto carbon storage. Although the soil layer of the slope is thin,its organic matter content reached 37.98g/kg ,demonstrating thepotentialof aggregate spray-seeding technologytoimprove soil qualityand carbon storage.Thephysicochemical propertiesof thesoil,particularly moisture,totalphosphorus,andtotalpotassium,significantlyaffctedcarbonstorage in theecolgicalrestorationarea.Thisstudyhighlightsthekeyroleofsoilmoistureinecologicalrestorationandcarbon sequestrationenhancement,providing valuable insights foroptimizing slope management measures and improving ecological restoration effectiveness.
