Analysis method for response characteristics of atomic spin inertia measurement based on pump light modulation

Abstract:The atomic spin inertia measurement system is affcted by multiple physical fields such as light, heat,and magnetism and their coupling effects.The error model is relatively complex,and the long-term stabilityand accuracyof the system hita bottleneck.A method to study the response characteristics of K-Rb21Ne atomic spin inertia measurement based on pump light modulation is proposed.High-frequency modulation of the pump light power is applied through a tapered amplifier(TA),and the polarization response model of modulated pump light onatomic spin ensemble is established,which determines the mapping relationship between the system output fundamental frequency signal and the input angular rate and conducts experimental verification.The results show that the inertial system based on pump light modulation has obvious lowfrequency noise suppression effect above 0.1Hz . This method is also applicable to fields such as atomic spin magnetometers and nuclear magnetic resonance gyroscopes,and is expected to have the same effect.
