Simulation model for radar system considering multi-source noise signal transmission

Abstract:Noise signal transmission are key factors in radar design process,this paper presents a millimeter-wave radar system simulation model considering multi-source noise signal transmission quality. The proposed model contains modules including frequency synthesizer,signal transceiver signal processing, which can simulate the generation transmisson signals to radar speed distance measurement systems. On this basis,a noise model considering power supply noise,spurious noise clutter noise is designed,which is capable simulating predicting radar mising alarmfalse alarm.In terms signal transmission,an equivalent circuit model is established,combinedwith the method field-circuit collborative toensure the simulation accuracy.Foratypical example,itis found that the clock signal has the problem“hook back". This shows that the simulation modelcan predictthe signaltransmission quality radar bydetecting indicators such as“eye diagram” signal waveform, guide the design transmission lines.
