Practicality Analysis and Conversion of the Subgrade Settlement Control Indexes in Highway Reconstruction and Expansion Projects

【Abstract】：Inviewoftheuncleardefinitionofsubgrade settlementcontrol indices incurrent highwayreconstructionand expansion specifications，this paper determined the location of maximum settlement through analysis of deal settlement basin curves and proposes a conversion formula for transverse and longitudinal slopeadjustments. Taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway（Tianjin Section） reconstruction project as a case study，a calculation example demonstrating post-construction slope changes was provided.
