Numerical Simulation of the Influence of Tie Beam Construction on Existing Shield Tunnel

【Abstract】：Inorder tostudytheimpactofconstructionloadsonexistingshieldtunneld，thisstudytakestheconstruction of the tie beamattherailway-related pilelocation in ContractSectionA1of thefirstphase projectof Fuzhou Binhai New City Expressway as acase.The finite element software midas GTS NX was employed for numerical simulation，aiming to analyze the additional stress imposed on the shalow-buried existing shield tunnel and the consequent lining displacement during the tie beam construction process.Based on the simulation results， anassessment was made todetermine whether the tie beam construction scheme complies with relevant specifications，thereby ensuring the safe operation of the existing tunnel.
