Abstract: Cyanobacterial bloom is a global water environment problem that threatens the safety of drinking water sources.The existing prevention and control technologies have limitations such as high cost and low efficincy, and there is an urgent need to develop new and environmentally friendly preventionand control methods.Blue-green algae bloomscan be preventedand controlled bycyanophages,a naturallyoccurring helpful biological control factor that can selectively infect blue-green algae.In the future,they canbe used as an emerging water treatment method to control algal blooms. With the goal of advancing research and applications in protecting the security of water sources and preserving the ecological balance of reservoirs, this paper examines a novel biocontrol approach that is ecologically friendly and uses cyanophages for water remediation.

水华(Waterbloom)或藻华(Algalbloom)是指在一定的营养、气候、水文条件和生物环境下,由于水体中氮和磷等生源物质过多,导致某些较为耐污的浮游藻类(如蓝藻、隐藻、裸藻、甲藻、硅藻和绿藻等)异常增殖,使水体呈现明显藻色并形成肉眼可见的藻类聚集体的现象[1]。(剩余16722字)
